I’ve reinterpreted Pellizza da Volpedo’s poignant masterpiece “Memory of Sorrow” in a modern key: the sorrow is now a text message sent via mobile phone, read by the receiver but left unanswered. People who act like this should lose their fingers one by one, painfully slowly…
