After a light breakfast on the grass (Manet’s “Le déjeuner sur l’herbe”), the two women decided to get ready for lunch covering up -for once- while the men took their place removing their clothes. I tried to maintain the same two-dimensional style Manet uses in painting his paper-like bodies.
